Paediatric Palliative Care in ​Advanced Heart Disease

Dawn graduated from Nursing at Western University in 1988 and worked in pediatric oncology at Sickkids before medical school. She graduated from McMaster University in 1993, and complete her pediatric residency at University of Alberta in 1997. She did a pediatric palliative care fellowship through the Canadian Cancer Society, and founded a pediatric palliative care program in Edmonton Alberta. She worked there until her move to CHEO and Roger Neilson House in 2018, where she is a palliative care physician.
