Dr. Geoff Ball, Ph.D, RD, Alberta Health Services

Geoff is a Professor of Pediatrics and the Alberta Health Services Chair in Obesity Research at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He’s also the Founding Director of the Pediatric Centre for Weight and Health, a multidisciplinary obesity management clinic at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. Complementing his research program in managing and preventing obesity in children, he is working in partnership with Obesity Canada and a national committee of parents, clinicians, and researchers to update the Canadian clinical practice guideline for managing pediatric obesity.
