Opioids and Substance Use in the Management of Pain in Children and Youth

Our curriculum has long focused on an interdisciplinary 3P approach in the management of pain in children. We are proud to have curated many presentations and resources and fostered an engaged community of practice.

However, to talk about pain management includes discussing safe prescribing and management of opioids and controlled substances. In line with the new Pain Management Guidelines that include opioid guidelines (Coming April 2023) and feedback from participants, Paediatric Project ECHO is delivering 10 sessions dedicated to the Opioids and Substance Use in the Management of Pain in Children and Youth.
